Today was a sobering reminder that something’s are just good
ideas. I woke this morning around seven and literally screamed “I don’t wanna!”
It was to the imaginary maternal figure that is Facebook. And it answered back, “To bad. You get up and do
what you need to do!” Like, go to work,
brush your teeth, comb your hair and get dressed. Well I got dressed and
brushed my teeth, but neglected my hair. Do we really need to brush our hair? I
did need to shovel and that I did. So that seems like a productive morning. I
got dressed and shoveled.
So let’s take a look at my list.
Issues
Big
Money is a problem. But I have my budget figured out and I
payed my rent! Okay now everything else. I haven’t made contact with my
companies to get them on the same page and work out a total payment plan. But I
am thinking about it. Does that count? It’s right on the front of my mind all
the time. I heard a report on the way to work where an economics professor and
certified genius has the same issue I have. Most of us will call it
procrastinating but he puts it in better terms and offers a solution to help
people in stressful situations like managing finances and time. You can listen
for yourself. I do hope this would
be something that happens. Imagine how many people can get a head if they have
an overdraft fee waived or a late fee forgiven because they live on a day to
day budget and money just doesn’t come in fast enough. No matter how hard you
work. I know that is the case with me. So… Money is still an issue. It will be.
I believe it’s always going to be. But I need to make this issue my Bitch.
Everyone always says make your money work for you. Well if
you don’t have any employees to work for you it’s kind of hard to get anything
done. I see thought about this saying after I heard the report above. And I
thought, “Right now my employees are working for someone else, and not me.” Now
the plan is to get out from under the thumb of these bills and debt and create
an enterprise of me. Even if it only profits 1 to 3k a year. It’s better than
losing.
Small
Productive mornings.
I covered this a little. Got dressed, shoveled. That’s it.
Reading? Nope. Did get it done however. Not my novel, just the devotional. And
that came during my lunch break at work. I realized that what I read yesterday didn’t
sink in. So I read that again. Then I read todays. Now I don’t remember todays.
But I do remember yesterdays. I think it would be a good idea to keep a rolling
list of daily readings. Maybe tomorrow I will read all three. And focus deeply on
the last one (from the 1st). Then continue it forward. So, on the 4th
I will read for the 2nd, 3rd, and the 4th, but
focus deeply on the 2nd. And so on.
What I want to do.
Big
I didn’t pick up my Bass today. I named it a while back. Its
name is Anna Marie. Only because it’s a Rogue Series 2 bass and being Rogue is
one of my favorite X-Men, it’s the logical thing to do. Well yea. She sits at
home tonight, alone and in the corner. I will have to give her some special
attention tomorrow, if I can find the time. Things are just so busy.
Small
I think we talked about this one too. No novel. So I didn’t really
do anything I wanted to do today. Except this blog. I have yet to determine if
this is a need or a desire. I find it therapeutic and exciting. But I feel if
it is missed, it will leave me forever. On that note I would like to wish you a
good night. Or good morning whatever time of day you find yourself reading
this.
Until next time,
Challenge yourself!
